Sourcing / Workflow

From nameplate to delivery.

A structured workflow makes technical procurement easier to audit, easier to approve and less dependent on ambiguous part descriptions.

A six-step route

  1. Share the requirement. Send the maker, model, serial number, part number, quantity, destination and required-by date.
  2. Validate the evidence. We review nameplates, manuals, drawings and photographs to reduce identification risk before sourcing.
  3. Source suitable options. Subject to availability, we identify genuine, OEM or clearly described alternative routes.
  4. Document the quotation. The commercial offer records scope, product description, origin, lead time, delivery basis and exclusions.
  5. Coordinate fulfilment. On approval, procurement, documentation, inspection arrangements, packing and logistics are coordinated.
  6. Support the handover. We remain available for documentation questions and post-delivery coordination within the agreed scope.

What improves identification?

A clear part number is useful, but a photograph of the nameplate, equipment maker and model, serial number, drawing revision, quantity, operating context and destination can materially improve the review. Existing RFQs and manuals are also useful when the original description is incomplete.

What the quotation should make clear

Product basis, origin, lead time, delivery term, inspection or certification scope, documentation available and known exclusions should be recorded in the applicable commercial offer. Availability and suitability remain requirement-specific.

Common questions

Useful answers before you send an enquiry.

What information should I include in a spare-parts enquiry?

Send the equipment maker, model, serial number, part or drawing number, quantity, destination and required-by date. Photos, drawings, manuals and existing RFQs help us validate the requirement.

Can Kenmark source marine and industrial components?

Yes. The UK business focuses on specialist spare-parts sourcing for marine, industrial and power-generation requirements, subject to availability and a written scope.

Do you supply genuine OEM and alternative parts?

We can identify genuine, OEM, reconditioned or technically suitable alternative routes when available. The quotation records the product basis and any exclusions.

What happens after I submit an enquiry?

We review the evidence, clarify the required product route, coordinate suitable supplier options and document the quotation, lead time, delivery basis and exclusions.

Does the UK company operate its own workshop?

The UK company is the contracting and commercial presence. Wider repair, reconditioning or inspection capabilities are coordinated only when applicable and are scoped separately in writing.
